The email explained he was planning to propose to his girlfriend, Nicole, during a hike in Acadia National Park. What Josh was hoping to do was schedule an engagement session for the same day of the proposal. Um, a Jordan Pond engagement session?! Heck yes, my friend! I was SO excited for the two of them, and couldn’t wait to meet them!
Josh and I shared several emails to nail down the plan, and to make sure he had everything he needed! They were going to be flying in to Maine from New York for a vacation in Bar Harbor. I loved hearing about the proposal and all the prep leading up to it when I met Josh and Nicole at Jordan Pond in Acadia National Park to do their engagement session. They both love the outdoors and they love to hike together. Thus making this whole area and trip the perfect time and location!
These two were incredible together. And they were phenomenal troopers! It was a weird misty drizzle and it was SO foggy at Jordan Pond, but we ended up getting some stellar engagement photos! We had talked about going to Otter Point after for more engagement photos. But, the fog was soo thick we couldn’t see anything! I absolutely love when a couple is willing to let me play with off camera flash to get some cool photos! Also, didn’t Josh do an amazing job picking out outfit options to pack for their photos?!
Anyway, check out these photos from this amazing and foggy and vibrant Jordan Pond engagement session!
P.S. Josh and Nicole were recently married in Olympic National Park – talk about a full circle moment! Sooo beyond happy for them!!
