I’m back with another incredible venue for my Places to Get Married in Maine series here on the blog! This one is a brand new venue, located in Otisfield, Maine – Moonlit Ridge Estate! Skylar and her family have done an absolutely incredible job creating this space, and I’ve absolutely loved watching their progress over the last year and a half of bringing the vision to life!
I was able to take a tour there last month and was immediately in love with the space. Every single detail has been so carefully thought out and lovingly brought to life. I absolutely love that three of the main spaces are named after their children!
One of the major goals for Moonlit Ridge Estate was to have it be a blank enough slate that you can transform it for your wedding or event, but also not too blank that it *needed* to be transformed. You could walk into Moonlit Ridge and leave everything exactly how it is and have a stunning event. Not to mention it has amazing views of the western mountain region.
Here are some highlights of the space:
- elevated DJ booth, so you don’t take up precious space in the pavilion
- located 45 minutes from Portland
- Short drive from Oxford Casino and Pleasant Mountain Ski Area, so there is easy access to accommodations and amenities for guests
- The main house can sleep 14 guests, not including the beautiful + separate newlywed suite
- Can we talk about how HUGE some of the showers are?!
- Options for an indoor ceremony if you desire/weather drives you inside
- Caterer’s kitchen on site
- Stunning + modern getting ready spaces for both sides of the wedding party (the Luna Lodge has the PERFECT mirror for taking fun selfies!)
When you rent Moonlit Ridge Estate for a wedding or event you’re getting the whole space for the whole weekend! This would be a fantastic option for a venue for getting married in Maine!
