I’m back with my fourth installment of my Places to Get Married in Maine series! This time, my kiddos got to join me on this venue tour (and we all played mini golf after – such a win for the first day of summer vacation!), and it was so awesome getting to know Stacey and hearing about Grace Ventures Barn! Grace Ventures is a new events center based out of Lebanon, Maine and is such a cool space. I’ve loved following them on their instagram account as they’ve shared all the renovations they’ve done!
The whole space used to be a family fun center, and stood dormant for 5 years. So, when Stacey and her team took over the property there was a lot of work to do – but they kept the mini golf course! How fun is it that after a wedding ceremony event staff get to tell your guests “You can grab your clubs for mini golfing while the couple and family have photos taken”?! What a fun way to spend cocktail hour!
Grace Ventures can accommodate 125 people, with roughly 80 people being the sweet spot for the space. They have the big barn for the reception, a beautiful space for the ceremony, and a house on the property that can be used for getting ready (the bridal prep suite was my FAVE!). The house can accommodate lodging for wedding party/immediate family for the weekend.
One of the cool things about this space is that if you leave it as it is, it’s absolutely beautiful for a wedding (or any type of event), but it’s enough of a blank slate that you can let your creative hearts go wild and decorate it in whatever vibes fits your day. It was cool to hear Stacey talk about how the heart of what they want their couples to experience is a day that is truly authentic to who they are, which is why they leave things pretty open-ended.
