She found him to be handsome and wholesome. He thought she looked like a fun person in all her photos, and he was in need of some fun. Amelia and Alexander are more than a Tinder success story. They’re the real deal. It doesn’t really matter what it was about their profiles that drew them to each other. What matters is that it led them to here – having their engagement session at Fort Williams Park in Cape Elizabeth.
I love these two. Amelia and Alexander are so kind and sweet, and it is so obvious how much they love each other and how deeply they know each other. They’re a true partnership. Alexander proposed with Amelia’s family nearby because he knows how important they are to Amelia. She was not expecting it to happen when it did, but needless to say she said yes without question 😉
I enjoyed getting to know these two more walking around Fort Williams during their engagement session. Fun fact, not only did I photograph Amelia’s sister’s wedding, she was also in my chemistry class when I was a student teacher! haha! We started at the children’s garden and then moved down to the beach for their second outfit. But, once we got there, we saw how crowded the beach was. It was a popular night for portrait sessions! Instead I took them over behind the fort, scrambled around on the rocks, and got some awesome photos! I dare say we had the better spot than those on the beach 😉 We were all in agreement that Mother Nature was a little dramatic this day. About an hour before the session the skies were so dark and threatening, but never shed a drop of rain! It burned right off and was beautiful, just in time for their engagement session!
Amelia and Alexander, I’m so beyond happy for you. Thank you for letting me take these photos for you! Enjoy some of my faves!
