As we were climbing down over the rocks to get closer to the water, he held his hand out to each of us to make sure we didn’t fall. This is how I knew that Erica was marrying such a sweet guy! Erica told me that Tom doesn’t like having his picture taken, to which I replied “That’s okay! Most guys don’t! haha!” By the end of our time together we were chatting about books, teaching, what they do for fun, and Tom was laughing and smiling all on his own 🙂 It was pretty fantastic!
Erica and I spent the afternoon texting each other trying to figure out if we should use our backup date or not. There was such crazy weather happening that day – sunny to dark clouds to crazy strong winds, to sprinkling, to sunny skies again. It was intense! We ended up starting our shoot a half hour early just in case we could beat the rain, and I’m so glad we did! We still had crazy gusty winds (that intensified the ocean breeze that is already there by Nubble Lighthouse), but the whole time the sky behind us got increasingly darker and more rainy looking, and we missed out on it!
These two are so sweet together, and I’m so excited to photograph their wedding in York in July!! Enjoy some of my favorite photos from our time together! There’s definitely a lot of laughing going on!
