“A penny saved is a penny earned.” I’ve never quite understood that saying. What I DO understand is that when you actually save up for something that you want, the thing you’re saving up for becomes so much more meaningful, because you WORKED to save up for it!
I’m currently saving up the old fashioned way ( a few dollars a week) for a liforme yoga mat and my Harry Potter tattoo. It’s going to take a LONG time, because neither of those things are cheap, but it’ll be so worth it!
It’s fun to save up to buy something the same way I had to do when I was a kid. It’s really sort of fun! I painted this piggy bank years ago, and I’m happy to be feeding it again! 🙂
