VEMMA | 30+ days later | Health & Wellness

I have always been typically pretty healthy. I don’t drink, smoke, do drugs, or do anything else that is harmful to my body. I drink water, tea, and lemon water. I try to eat a lot of fruits and veggies, less meat, and organic whenever I can afford it. I cut out a huge amount of processed foods over a year ago, I exercise fairly regularly (although that can go in either direction really quickly, haha), and I try to get 7-8 hours of sleep every night.

That’s pretty much the extent of my well-being.

Despite being fairly healthy I have always had issues with my back. It hurts pretty much every day, and has done so since I was in 6th or 7th grade. I’ve also more recently found out that I have polycystic ovarian syndrome, which can explain my never-ending battle with acne on my face.

When we lived in Skowhegan, Steven was working construction so I was able to have health insurance through his work, which was pretty rad. My doctor from the UMF Health Center referred me to Diane, a mechanical link therapist. She did wonders for my back. My spasms were pretty much nonexistent and my back was feeling better. Then, we moved from Skowhegan, and we lost our insurance. So that was that.

Then I became a teacher in the Portland area and was able to have health insurance again. I started seeing a physical therapist about a year ago, and it was life-changing. My back was starting to feel better. I could do the dishes and put away clothes without having to take a break and lay down because my back hurt so badly. The spasms when laying down started to get better. They were still there, but better. I was STOKED. We took a break for about two months and then I went back to my physical therapist because things went downhill again. This time, sadly enough, we weren’t making any progress. I was pretty bummed because I LOVED going to Back In Motion Physical Therapy. They were fantastic, and I don’t have enough words to describe how much they helped and how grateful I am for their amazing personalities. I was referred to a different physical therapist in Richmond, Innovative Therapy, back in October or so, and they have a different approach there. I’ve started to see amazing transformations in my back, and I have hope.

I had heard about VEMMA a couple of years ago, but I was skeptical about it. I also did not do my own research like I should have. Around September, I started to think about trying VEMMA, but I was on the fence, so when I started to see my new physical therapist, I asked him what he thought of it because he was brilliant and also a health and wellness coach. He did some research, I did some research, and he really encouraged me to give this a shot. Aaron told me the ingredients were stellar, of a high quality, and really does great things for the body on a cellular level. These drinks are just LOADED with nutrients, vitamins, and essential minerals.

That was final piece of the puzzle. I called my friend Lauren and told her I wanted to give it a try.

Like I mentioned earlier, I never drank anything besides water and tea, so it’s not like there was something unhealthy I was drinking every day to replace with VEMMA products, so it was definitely a huge leap of faith for me, because that meant I’d be spending more money than I usually do. A lot of people drink Monsters, coffees, iced teas, and so on every day, so they’re already spending money on products, and I wasn’t.

I’m SO glad I gave it a try.

Since I’ve started to drink it just about every day since the middle of December, my skin has cleared up more than it ever has before in my life, and I am ECSTATIC. My physical therapist said there’s less inflammation in my body and things are just moving through my body completely differently and he was pretty pumped about it. We can’t say for sure that it was from these drinks, but I am willing to speculate and say that it is. Especially since I ran out of the product for about a week and a half and couldn’t drink any, when I went to see Aaron that week (I didn’t mention I hadn’t been drinking the product for almost two weeks) he was telling me that my muscles were incredibly tight, and I had a crazy amount of inflammation again in my shoulders and the areas surrounding my shoulders.

That’s pretty much all the proof I need. I feel energized on a daily basis, and I had forgotten what that was like. There’s no crash – it’s sustainable, natural, healthy energy. I first noticed that I wasn’t tired all of the time in a department meeting after school on a Monday – everyone had been making comments about how exhausted they were and how they wanted a nap, and usually I was right there with them. Not that day, and not any day since then. I noticed that I wasn’t tired. I felt like I could keep going and get so much more done. More so, I didn’t feel like I was just jittery with energy. I just wasn’t tired. It was amazing.

I haven’t looked back since.

I’m looking forward to seeing the impact these products will have on my stamina during a wedding day.

I have high hopes for these products and what they’ll continue to do for my health, my family, and my future financial stability.
