Maya and Adam are probably two of my favorite humans. And based on the sentiments shared during the toasts at their Barn at Gibbet Hill wedding, a LOT of people feel that way about them. These two just radiate around each other. It’s so clear how deeply they love each other with respect, passion, and integrity. They’re such a light to the people around them, and getting to witness that throughout their wedding day was incredibly special.

Their Barn at Gibbet Hill wedding in Groton, Massachusetts was filled with so much joy, emotion, and intentionality from beginning to end. The venue itself was absolutely stunning, with beautiful views, warm rustic charm, and the kind of atmosphere that instantly makes everyone feel at home. It was the perfect setting for a wedding day that felt elegant, emotional, and deeply personal all at once.
A Ceremony Full of Laughter and Emotion
During their ceremony, their friend Liz officiated the wedding, and she told the story of Maya and Adam as though we were watching a movie unfold in real time. There was so much laughter and so much emotion as she took everyone down memory lane. You could look around and see guests completely invested in every word she said. It was the perfect ceremony because their story is what brought everyone there in the first place.
Favorite Moments from Maya + Adam’s Wedding Day
I had so many favorite parts of the day: their emotional and incredibly sweet first look; listening to speeches that made everyone laugh and cry; sneaking out at sunset to grab some romantic portraits; and of course, the Hora. Honestly, I could keep going, but I’ll spare you. The energy throughout the entire day was unforgettable, and everyone was so genuinely excited to celebrate Maya and Adam.

One of my favorite parts of photographing weddings at Barn at Gibbet Hill is how beautiful the property becomes at sunset. The light was absolutely unreal during portrait time, and those quiet moments together away from the reception ended up creating some of my favorite images from the entire day.
The Barn at Gibbet Hill truly knows how to put on a wedding. Every detail flowed seamlessly, and everything about the day felt thoughtful, joyful, and full of love from beginning to end.
