There’s nothing sweeter than witnessing very dear friends commit themselves to each other in such a bold way that is marriage. Earlier this year, Rachel and Ryan had a beautiful summer wedding in Sugar Hill, NH. With views of the mountains beyond them, a Chuppah that threatened to blow away in the wind, and the sounds of laughter, Rachel and Ryan officially became husband and wife. Just days before their big move to Maui!
It’s always such an honor to be the one to photograph these days, but it hits different when it’s a friend who wants you to be their wedding photographer! I loved everything about this day. The weather was dreamy, the company was amazing, the speeches and toasts were incredibly heartfelt, and we all left with full hearts just anticipating their official “big” celebration in the fall.
Rachel was very intentional about supporting local businesses while planning this wedding and it showed! Everything about the day was beautiful, right down to the family china that Robin brought with her to set the beautiful table we all shared dinner at! Their day was also fun and unique with the perfect dress Rachel found at a thrift store in Seattle; arriving to the ceremony in a covered ATV; and having Ryan’s brother officiate the ceremony. I still find myself emotional looking at the joy and love in these photos, and I’m so beyond happy for my sweet friends!
