Kathleen had a three date rule. If by the end of the date she didn’t see a future with a man, there would be no more dates. She didn’t see the point. So, when Mike made it to the fourth date, no one knew what to do. He was the first guy to make it that far! I learned a lot about these two on their wedding day, and what I learned the most is how they complement each other so perfectly. They are two individual human beings, but as a pair they’re unstoppable.
They were married at St. Mary of the Sacred Heart in Hanover, MA, and I’ve never been to a wedding like this. It was an open invite, meaning anyone who wanted to attend could. And let me tell you, friends, these two are so loved and that church had a whole lot of people there who were excited to watch these two get married! I loved their ceremony, because throughout their mass, there was an incredible amount of laughter and crying. They also chose really awesome songs 🙂 It was so incredibly joyful and amazing to see how these two looked at each other, and their promises they made to each other.
Their wedding party was so much fun and really were amazing to work with during the portraits. We only had about ten minutes left to do Mike and Kathleen’s photos and we crushed it! Kathleen and Mike, your wedding rejuvenated me and I’m so so honored that I was there to witness it all! Check out some of my favorites from their big day!
They had an ice cream truck just for their wedding guests!!
