We were all slightly nervous the morning of the 22nd. It had poured the night before, and it was still cloudy and drizzling in the morning. There was a two hour window of time that was supposed to be clear weather, which happened to be the time frame in which the ceremony was happening! As the universe would have it for this power copule, the skies cleared and there wasn’t a drop of rain for their ceremony and reception. Not only did the skies clear, but we had a beautiful rainbow and sunset to take photos with! It was absolutely perfect 🙂
Their wedding journey began last Christmas when John proposed to Lauren with her Grandma Ruth’s ring. John wanted their first christmas with their daughter to be one as a unified family – how sweet is that?! Almost 9 months, a lot of succulents, birch trees (they love the outdoors!), and lots of blues and pinks, they had their dream wedding at Penobscot Valley Country Club, and I was honored to be a part of it. Everyone there was so ecstatic for Lauren + John, and it was fondly referred to as #TuellFest!
In Lauren’s words, it was “literally the best day ever!”
