No one prepared me for what it would be like to watch my sister (my best friend) become a mama. I still can’t believe it most days, and yet I totally can. She was made for this, and she’s the best mama to her sweet little Bennett! It was so special for me to do their newborn photos at home. I may or may not be biased, but Bennett is just the cutest little boy, and I loved taking these photos!
Like most first-time parents, Krystle and Jack have faced a lot of big changes with the arrival of their son. Despite all the changes and challenges they’ve had to navigate, one thing that has remained the same through it all is their love for each other, and their love for their little boy.
I can’t wait to watch him grow, and to see him, Lily and James become best buds! We did these newborn photos at home when he was just 8 days old. These types of sessions are some of my favorite to do, especially in those immediate days after your whole world gets flipped upside by a new little human.
