If you’ve been following along for even a minute, you know that I am a voracious reader. I can’t get enough. Most of the time I’m having an existential crisis about the fact that there will never be enough time to read all the books I want to read. My “to be read” list rapidly outpaces my capacity. It’s so sad!
Anyway, I managed to read 120 books in 2025! Which is wild to me, because I spent 5 weeks prepping and then completing a massive road trip with my kids. I barely read for those 5 weeks. So, that’s pretty cool! I’m always telling people what books I’m currently reading or what they should read next. Which brings me to this post – I’m not going to list all 120 books I read in 2025, but I am going to share my favorite books of 2025! Well, my favorite fiction ones. I’ll share the full list of non-fiction books I read last year too. If you want to see the full list of books you can check out my Goodreads. Though, I think I’m slowly transitioning to Storygraph. But that’s a different post for a different day.

I disovered Meghan Quinn near the end of 2025 and have since gone down a deep spiral into all of her books. They make me laugh so hard I cry, just about every time! She’s pretty much become an automatic 5 star for me because they’re so fun to read. And Sarah Adams – she’s always a 5 star for me too! I read a solid handful of her books in 2025. I read a BUNCH of books last year, but these ones stand out to me the most when I think back on the year! So, there you have it – my favorite books of 2025! What should I add to my “must-read” list for 2026?
