I met Julie and Melissa at the New England Bridal Show that was held in Portland last month. I am SO stoked that they were the winners of my free engagement session giveaway! This was their first time having photos taken of the two of them in their four years as a couple – they completely KILLED it at this session. You’d never know that it was super cold out with the way these two just exude happiness and love in their photos!
We walked around the Old Port looking for pretty lights and cool stones to take photos by. We talked about their wedding (and how it’s going to be the best party ever next year), their story (started out as friends!!), questioned the safety of riding on a horse drawn carriage through downtown Portland, how much it must suck to be the person in charge of putting up lights throughout Portland this time of year, and so much more. I loved getting to know these two and I LOVE how their photos turned out! I’m so grateful that these two were so patient with me while I played around with off camera flash in some dark alleyway! I think we got some killer shots that I absolutely adore! Be sure to take a look at Julie’s beautiful ring – it’s a sixth generation diamond. Don’t you just love a ring that has a story to it!? 🙂
