It’s wild to me that this was their last set of family photos as Maine residents! I’ve been close with Amanda and her family since I moved back to Maine in 2020 and it’s wild to think it’s only been five years. It’s felt like we’ve been besties our whole lives! They’ve been living in California for the last two years and recently sold their house in Maine since they’re staying in California. While they were back for a quick visit we squeezed in some family photos on Cousins Island – a place that they love to go to as a family! It was extra sweet because Nick’s parents were here too, so we got some photos of them as well!
I’ve never been to Cousins Island before this and it definitely did not disappoint. The sky was a little moody as we watched a storm roll through in the distance, and the tide was still low enough we had plenty of room to move around. It’s always an absolute honor and privilege to take photos for my friends, especially more than once! Last year was extra special to do them while the kids and I visited them in California. Taking their family photos on Cousins Island was so fun, and I love how their photos came out. It didn’t hurt that they had the cutest outfits on – especially the girls! I couldn’t even.
