Emily texted me asking if we could push back their session and when she was kind of cryptic, I immediately knew what was happening. But of course, she could neither confirm nor deny. As soon as I pulled up into the parking lot next to them, and got out to meet her I just held my hand out and said “Let me see it!” The ultrasound photo of their newest babe! I’m so freaking excited for them all! We’ve done photographs every year (sometimes multiple times a year, because, births + babies) since they were engaged and we weren’t sure we’d be able to think of location we haven’t used yet for them! Ultimately, we decided to do their family photos at the Maine Audubon in Falmouth, and it was pretty much perfect!
This year Malcolm was totally the ringleader and was such a silly boy the entire time. That’s okay though! I love when you get to look at family photos and say “oh this was the year XYZ.” And they’ll look back at this year and say, “this was the year Malcolm would only act silly as soon as he saw the camera.” Sure did make for some pretty cute photos!!
My kiddos got to come with me for this session, and while I did their announcement photos they all ran around and played. Then once we were all done, we all just hung out and explored a little bit more!
