I saw a friend post a photo of a magical looking space on Instagram, and when I asked where it was she said it was at the gardens at Pineland Farms! After that I mentally added it to my list of places to do photos at. When Emily and I were discussing our annual session, I suggested doing their family photos at Pineland Farms in the gardens and she was down!
This is, I think, the 6th year in a row photographing this sweet family. Watching them grow is so dang cool! I’ve photographed births, maternity, newborns and beyond for this family and it’s truly such an honor that they come back year after year! This year was no different. The boys had their own ideas of what they wanted for their own photos (which is SO fun!) and we had to do a lot of wrangling to get them all together for a few shots. But, the boys all did a fantastic job, and I absolutely love how these photos came out!
After this, I’m pretty sure I need to do family photos at Pineland Farms way more often. The gardens are absolutely beautiful and I could see myself using it in a lot of different ways! Over these past few years, family photo sessions have become such a special type of session for me to do, and one of my faves! I love photographing families with young children because you never know what you’re going to get 🙂
