If you want to know who Rachel + Ryan are in a nutshell, their barn wedding party in New York last fall pretty much sums them up! They were married in an intimate vow ceremony at the end of the summer in New Hampshire with their immediate family and some close friends. Two days later they packed up and moved to Maui, only to return for their barn wedding party in New York at a family member’s house just a couple months later. They sure did start their marriage off with a bang!
“Koda’s Barn Party” as they affectionately called it, was an incredible celebration of Rachel and Ryan’s marriage with all of their friends and family. These two dear friends of mine are so kind and thoughtful – they thought of everyone for this event. They had fun crafts to do for the kids (and adults!), a bubble machine, lawn games, a kid’s tent for naps, fire pits, and fun dancing at the end of the night. Rachel + Ryan thought of everything! The entire vibe was so relaxed and joyful. Truly everyone was there to shower these two friends with love and heartfelt congratulations! I loved all of the personal touches they put on this party, and I know everyone else did too.
Can we also please take a moment to appreciate Rachel’s amazing outfit?! She found the skirt at a thrift store (I believe), and it wasn’t actually a skirt at that point. She had it tailored and re-designed to what you see, AND her jean jacket was custom tailored to match her skirt! It looked absolutely incredible, especially paired with the flower crown!
