What’s in my bag | Lenses I use on a wedding day | Video Blog

I’ve been a teacher for four years, and I still get nervous with public speaking! ha! So forgive all the “ums” and I worked really hard on speaking clearly and slowly!

Today’s blog post is a video blog that explains what lenses I have in my bag and what parts of the wedding day I use them for! If this is helpful to even just ONE person, then I feel pretty good about that!

Just to re-cap, here’s what I’ve got in my bag:

  • 35 mm f/2.0
  • 50 mm f/1.4
  • 85 mm f/1.8
  • 24-70 mm f/2.8
  • 80-200 mm f/2.8
  • Vivitar Extension Tubes
  • Nikon d610
  • Nikon d700

Someday I’ll do a separate post that’s all about my off-camera flash gear and what I bring with me to weddings for lighting!

If you missed a recent blog post about the two lenses I would bring with me if I could ONLY have two, check it out here!

You can usually find me adding books to my never-ending “to read” list; challenging myself to do things like not shop for a year; sneaking crispy m+ms from my secret hiding spot so I don’t have to share them with my daughter; and melting over seeing my children smiling at each other.

Oh and I guess I should mention - I’m a seasoned Portland wedding photographer who provides not only kick-ass wedding photos, but also a meaningful and laid-back experience from the time you book to the delivery of your final images.

I share all things personal, business, tips, and life as a mom and business owner here on the blog!
