Oh New England can be so unpredictable, can’t it? Kayla and I were planning on having her maternity session in the Hampton Beach area, and when I got there, I realized it had become really overcast. Thankfully she was able to meet a little earlier than we planned and I’m SO glad we did because when we changed to her second outfit, it had to started to sprinkle and as we were wrapping up it was really starting to rain! But those clouds made for some beautiful backgrounds by the ocean!
I’m also grateful that we both had time in our schedules to make this happen this past weekend! I had so much fun wandering around Bicentennial Park, laughing and just chatting about all things birth and babies! When I saw her second outfit, she said “might as well go full Pinterest for this” and I couldn’t agree more! She looked absolutely perfect, and I LOVED her dress! I was literally gushing while shooting the last portion of the session because the background coupled with her beautiful self just had me sooo excited that this is my job!
I freaking love how these came out and I’m SO excited for Kayla to be a mama soon! She’s studying to be a midwife and is coming so close to the end of her work! When I asked if she knew if they were having a boy or girl, she said they didn’t know the sex because “those births are always so fun!” And I agree 100000%!!
>> Read this blog post to see why we didn’t want to know the sex either! <<
She’s got six more weeks to go and she’s just radiant, and I’m so so excited for her to be on this wild ride we call parenthood! Check out some of my faves from our Hampton Beach maternity session!! It really was so hard to narrow these down!
