Ferry Beach is a frequent spot for Matt and Carla, so it made perfect sense to do their maternity photos at Ferry Beach earlier this year. Maternity photos are always so special for me to do, but this particular session really tugged at my heart. After experiencing two losses, and many years of waiting, they were absolutely blessed with identical TWIN girls.
When I tell you these little girls have hit the jackpot by having Matt + Carla as their parents… I mean they have hit the JACKPOT.
We stood in the parking lot listening to the tail end of a lullaby that Matt wrote for his girls, and it took all I had to not break down crying listening to it. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to all that Matt + Carla have to offer their children.
Their story is one that is a true testament to the faithfulness and goodness of God. These little girls are so deeply loved and cherished, and watching these two hold and love on their daughters earth-side melts my heart every freaking time.
Matt + Carla, you are the most amazing parents to Carolina and Lucia and I’m so honored that I was able to document this long-awaited season of life for you. After doing your maternity photos at Ferry Beach, perhaps we will make this a regular yearly spot for family photos with your sweet miracles.
