Day 29- Five songs or pieces of music that speak to you or bring back memories.
I sort of fell off the blog wagon these past few days. It’s been a crazy busy weekend, especially with shooting a wedding mixed in there! I’ve decided that this will be the last blog post for the blog everyday in May challenge, because I’m super excited to get to my planned posts! However, I’m feeling sentimental, and mildly emotional, today so I’ve decided that this would be a nice post to end with!
#1. Love me tender – Norah Jones
This is mine and Steven’s wedding song, and I just adore it so much! I’ll never forget our first dance, and this song takes me back EVERY time. I can remember every feeling, and exactly what was going on and what was said.
#2. I Loved Her First – Heartland
This was the song for me and my daddy at my wedding. This is when I absolutely lost it and started bawling at my wedding reception. I’ve loved this song since I was such a little girl, and I’ve always known it’d be the song I danced to with my dad. He also helped pick it out 🙂 The emotions of the words, the feelings I was experiencing, and seeing our amazing interpreters sing along with the song was just too much for me to handle!
#3. Its Gotta Be You – Backstreet Boys
Me and my sister JAM out to this song in the car! We’re excellent car singers and dancers!
#4. I Won’t Give Up – Jason Mraz
I just love this song. And Jason Mraz. Can’t go wrong with this one!
#5. Sound of Pulling Heaven Down – Blue October
This song brings me back to when I was in my first year of college. There’s just something about it that makes me love it so much. It always makes me calm, for some reason.
Well, there ya have it! Five of the very many songs that bring back memories and have some meaning to me! What are some songs that bring back memories for you?
