Now that we live in Portland, we don’t get to make very many trips back home like we did when we were living in Skowhegan! It’s typically only when I have a session, or its a holiday, or the car needs to be worked on when we make the three hour trek back home. And until hover cars are invented, I fear that is how it will stay! Our last visit was for Easter, and it was such a nice day to be able to spend time with our family! It rocked 🙂 Check out some photos from that day!
The best part about travelling super early is seeing a beautiful sunrise! I am such a sucker for sunrises and sunsets.
The gift that Alex made for us! I love it! I can’t wait to add some hooks to it to make it our key holder! 🙂
Apparently, Alex can paint. No one knew this until she came out of her room one day with a painting. Apparently, she didn’t know either 😉
The one that she had just finished before we arrived. Isn’t she great?!
Oh y’know. Just hanging out.
I’m truly surprised this candy even lasted the car ride home!
This is a painting that Alex whipped up for me before we left! It brought tears to my eyes, because in the bottom left corner she painted “All I want is you, will you be my bride?” This is the song that Steven sang to me when he proposed!
At gram’s house 🙂
It was seriously so great to be able to spend solid time with my family. It’s the best!
