I’m on day four of the blog everyday in May challenge, and today’s topic is your favorite quote! As anyone can see from my pinterest, I have an obsession with quotes! There are so many that I absolutely love, and have so much meaning. Quotes are fabulous. I only wish I was awesome enough to come up with a quote of my own 🙂
I found this quote earlier this year when I was making a calendar for my best friends for their birthday/graduation/christmas present (it was pretty late for a lot of occasions – but I’m going to be better at it this year!), and I fell in love. So much so, that I got a copy of the calendar for myself! I have a ton of favorite quotes, but I really like this one because of what it stands for. Whether or not you realize it, YOU have so much control over the quality of your life. The choices you make every day directly impact your life, and whether or not it impacts you in a positive or negative way is up to you. You do have control over your happiness. You have the ability to change your life. YOU are the only one who can do that. So stop saying “someday,” because “someday” isn’t guaranteed (and as Roy Miller says in “Knight and Day,” someday is code for never), and just get out there and do whatever it takes to live the life you’ve always dreamed of.
