Day 17 – A favorite photo of yourself and why.
Y’know, I must say – I’m really diggin’ this blog everyday in May challenge. The topics are fun, and it really helps me figure out my personality with writing, even though I have a long ways to go with that! I’ve decided to put my typical posts (except for my featured Wednesdays and Friday tips) on hold for June, so that I don’t have blog overload 🙂
I call this an almost-self-portrait because I didn’t plan it, or take it. But, I do love it and I am the star of the photo 🙂 My wedding photographer, RW Photo, did a FABULOUS job with our wedding photos, and I absolutely treasure them today. This is one of my favorite photos of me of all time.
Why?
It just exudes happiness.
This photo also represents a HUGE turning point in my life. I was getting married, and moving out on my own, and moving on with my life. I was, and still am, over the moon about what my wedding meant to me. I’m ridiculously happy being with my husband, and I’m so grateful that I was able to celebrate such a special day with so many people who are super important to me.
One of the best times of my life, right there.
