They met at a Halloween party. Becca had a last minute, quickly put together costume and Mitchell was a very put together doctor. I think it’s safe to say that that party changed everything for them. They got married last year, and now they’re expecting their first baby girl! We did their maternity session at the Norfolk County Agricultural School, which is actually where they did their wedding party photos! Talk about coming full circle!
I had the best time walking around with the two of them and getting to know them. I especially loved hearing about the wild stories Becca has because she’s a Physician’s Assistant – they blew my mind! I had never even heard of the Norfolk County Agricultural School before, but holy smokes is it absolutely beautiful there!
Overall, it was a great night with some amazing glow from the sun! I especially loved seeing the way Mitchell looks at Becca. Melts my heart every time I see it in a photo. I loved incorporating some special elements to their maternity photos. They brought the most adorable little baby shoes that are apparently Mitchell’s favorite kind of shoes (and he got a matching pair for Becca!) so we *had* to photograph them! Why are baby shoes so stinking cute?! Also, the theme of the nursery incorporates Totoro, a Japanese cartoon character and I loved it so much! I definitely had to look it up because I had never heard of it before!
