When I walked down the steps to the beach on Mackworth Island, near Portland, it felt like I was getting ready to greet old friends. However, this was my first time meeting Madeleine and Derek, just five days before their wedding! Since I started talking to Maddie back in 2013, I knew that this was going to be a lot of fun, and that these two souls were a perfect fit for me.
They have never had their photos taken professionally before, which is hard to believe because they were so natural during the photos! I’m so glad we had the chance to do some photos to get to know each other in person and to share a meal afterwards. These two are so sweet with each other, and after this, we were all so much more excited for their intimate wedding later that week. Check out some more photos from their session!
