“There’s nothing you can’t do – just things you haven’t done.” I don’t know where this originally comes from, but my husband has been telling me this since we first met. I tell this to my students. I say this to my friends. I thought it was fitting to talk about this today, because I just did a session with Eliza over the weekend, and we talked about how far we have both come – her with modeling, and me with my photography.
I NEVER thought I would ever be able to take photos of a lady in a gorgeous blue ball gown, on a beach in Maine, in February. And have it come out as awesome as it did.
I never thought that I would be a part of so many wedding days, and trusted to do such an important job.
I never thought that I’d be attending a meetup with photographers later this week in Massachusetts for a super styled wedding.
I just never thought that I would ever be able to do, well, any of this.
But I have. I am doing this.
You know why?
There’s nothing you can’t do. Just things you haven’t done.
Now go out there and do it.
