I’ve used Showit for as long as I’ve had my website and my business, and I’ve always LOVED it! In the past year they launched “Showit 5,” a brand new interface and experience for websites! I decided to make the upgrade around April and re-did my website. Just last week I hit “publish” on an even more enhanced website than what I started with and I love how it is now!
If you’re building a website and aren’t sure which platform to use, here are the reasons I love Showit!
- Absolutely amazing customer service! Whenever I’m in the process of re-designing my website, there are lots of random little questions that pop up that I feel the need to ask. I generally hear back the same day (depending on the time I submitted it) and they always have the answers and information I need!
- Really great free templates. Sometimes I feel that free templates are often not that great. The design is just “so-so” but the free templates are actually really good! I used a free template and in a year or two I plan to save up to have a designer build me a custom site, but I’m just not there yet.
- Very user friendly! It’s a “drag and drop” kind of platform so you don’t need to know anything about coding. When I upgraded back in April, I was able to build my entire site in just a couple of days! So, it’s an easy platform to get your site up and running without too much difficulty!
- It looks really professional. The general vibe of the sites that the platform produces is a really professional one and I think it’s a great way to “wow” any person that visits your site!
- It’s VERY affordable. I actually started to save money by upgrading to Showit5!
- You can access the builder from anywhere! The old version you had to have it installed on your desktop, but now it’s all web based. You can work on it from any computer!
- It can also host your wordpress blog. I haven’t played around with this yet, mostly because that feels overwhelming because I’ve used this blog for so many years. But that really just comes down to knowledge. I haven’t actually looked into it yet so I don’t know what it’s like to switch it! But if you do host the blog you can design it so it 100% matches your website!
