Portland, Maine Photographer :: 52 weeks of FUN catch-up!

I sort of fell off my photo challenge wagon recently! I’m so excited to be getting back into it again now that I have the time to truly get creative and remember why I love photography in the first place! Here are the photos that I’ve missed (including this week’s theme!):

P.S. You can’t judge me for using more current photos for the older weeks! I am determined to stay on track for the rest of the year πŸ™‚

Week #21 – Flashed

This was my first time really working with artificial lighting! Used a softbox during the Gamechangers workshop πŸ™‚

Week #22 – Sun

LOVING the sun in this πŸ™‚

Week #23 – Lines

Week #24 – Outside of photography

Outside of photography: I am a teacher, a rock climber, a wife, a sister, a friend πŸ™‚

Week #25 – Emotional attachment

My engagement ring, wedding band, and the ring my parents gave me on my 16th birthday – I have cried on different occasions thinking that these were lost when I just misplaced them!

Week #26 – Things I can’t live without

Week #27- Jewelry

My mom’s beautiful wedding rings πŸ™‚

Week #28 – Purposely out of focus

Can you guess what this is? πŸ˜€

Week #29 – A week in our lives

This one was too much for me to handle. Maybe next year πŸ™‚

Week #30- Water

This isn’t the original idea I had, but I like it anyway! I’m excited to eventually try the idea I want to do with water!

Week #31 – Sleep

Week #32 – Circle

This is a button from one of the cardigans I got from Goodwill, but it’s missing a button so I’m going to replace them all.

Week #33 – Your Car

I love our car so much! It truly spoils us πŸ™‚

Week #34 – Self portrait

πŸ™‚ I love reflections!

Week #35 – SOOC (straight out of camera)

I loved this session so much πŸ™‚

Week #36 – Feeling of warmth

It’s a hot chocolate kind of night πŸ™‚

You can usually find me adding books to my never-ending β€œto read” list; challenging myself to do things like not shop for a year; sneaking crispy m+ms from my secret hiding spot so I don’t have to share them with my daughter; and melting over seeing my children smiling at each other.

Oh and I guess I should mention - I’m a seasoned Portland wedding photographer who provides not only kick-ass wedding photos, but also a meaningful and laid-back experience from the time you book to the delivery of your final images.

I share all things personal, business, tips, and life as a mom and business owner here on the blog!
