Last weekend, I had the absolute pleasure of photographing an engagement session of a 2013 bride and groom!! I’ve known Jen for pretty much as long as I can remember. Our parents have been friends for a very long time, and I can recall a ton of visits to their place! We always had a ton of fun, so it’s no surprise that this e-session was any different! Jen and Jeff are so cute together, and Jeff has the most incredible blue eyes. I didn’t notice how blue they were until halfway through the session, and they literally stopped me dead in my tracks!
We did our session at the Camden Ampitheatre, and got some photos down by the water, and by the Public Library. I’ve photographed at the ampitheatre in the past, but I did not notice the waterfall-type area until this trip! We were all walking down closer to the water and to get to some benches, when we could hear this roar of water. Me and Jen were trying to figure out where it was coming from, and since the sun was blinding us, we could not see water anywhere! As soon as the sun was behind a building, we saw the water, and it was so gorgeous! Turns out, Jeff had seen it the whole time we were walking towards it – he had sunglasses on! I was so excited to take advantage of this water! I absolutely love how this session turned out, and how I was able to use the sun to my advantage!

It’s not a proper engagement session without some close-up ring shots! I’m very pleased with these, as I rented a 105mm lens and it was my first time using it!! This lens is totally going on my wish list for camera gear 🙂
Jeff picked out such a beautiful ring!! Also, I love those mittens! They’re handmade! Also, Jen was super sweet and let me wear them while I was taking photos, it was so cold!!
