I did a project recently, and I am so grateful to my sweet brides who helped me out! I created a video (I’m not a video editor by any means, but done is better than perfect!) where I had brides send me clips of their thoughts of what it’s like to work with me! I feel like this is going to be a valuable video for not only future brides, but future families as well! I love what I do, and this video isn’t just for you, it’s for me too. It’s what will keep me going when I feel like I’m not good enough or cut out for this.
I love photography. I love providing families with ways to re-live some of the most precious moments in their lives. I was talking with a photographer at the end of a recent wedding, and we were talking about why we do what we do. And I said to her, “photography is more than making money to me. That grandfather today? One day he’s not going to be here anymore, and that’s going to be so sad, but you know what’s awesome? That family is going to have kick-ass photos of their sweet grandfather out on the dance floor, and that MATTERS. THAT is why I do this, and why I don’t give up.”
For anyone who works with me, THANK YOU. It’s an honor that I do not take lightly – not even for a second.
