Since I was already on the way to Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, I decided it would be a good idea to squeeze in a maternity session with Derek and Maddie! I photographed their beautiful intimate wedding last summer, and I’m so excited that I could photograph this new adventure of theirs! We did photos at Maymont in Richmond, Virginia. It was seriously the most beautiful park I’ve ever seen. There was SO much to see there! Steven and I could have happily spent all day there just wandering around! It’s on our list for our next trip south 🙂
Anyway, Maddie and Derek are amazing and it was absolutely awesome to see them again. We grabbed lunch/dinner at the New York Deli in Carytown afterwards and just chatted some more while eating some yummy food! I’m so thankful that the rain literally held off until we got in our cars to leave! Check out some of my faves of this new momma and daddy-to-be!
