what it's like to work with me

One of the biggest questions that I wonder when I hire someone else to take my photos is, what is it like to work with them? I mean, REALLY like to work with them. So, if you're wondering "what is it like to work with Linda Barry?" then this page is just for you!

First and foremost, I follow your lead during a session or a wedding day. I figure out what it is that you need from me, and that's what I give. Some people like to have direction every step of the way, and others can handle it on their own. Either way.. I've got your back! I'm going to take super good care of you, and you'll never have to worry about what to do next! I'm not afraid to do whatever it takes to make you comfortable and relaxed! But, I do count on you to be yourself, 1000%, and I'll do the same :)

One of the reasons I like photographing weddings so much, is that I get to document something as it unfolds naturally. It's as authentic as it gets. When it comes to posing, I do make sure we get those traditional photos, because there's value in having them, but the majority of the photos I deliver tell a story of your day and your family, as it happened. There's so much to the process, and so much I do for you on a wedding day or during a regular session, but rest assured, I'll make sure you're looking and feeling your best for the photos!
