Oh my gosh, last week I had the opportunity to attend a styled shoot at The Commons 1854 wedding venue in Topsfield, MA! It was my first time seeing this beautiful space and I was absolutely in awe! It was also really neat to get to flex my creative muscles and see some amazing work from other local wedding industry vendors! It’s really awesome to meet other people since moving to the Boston area! Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I’m so thankful that Janita Mestre Photography put the whole thing together! She nailed the theme of elegant and classy with touches of soft pinks and pale yellows!
Our models, Iryne and Alex, were sooo sweet to work with! They are an actual married couple and have been married for TEN years! I loved seeing these two interact with each other and the way they could make each other TRULY laugh! Their faces absolutely lit up with joy when they laughed together and it made me excited to go home and give my husband a hug!
It was a slightly chilly day so we did a mix of portraits both indoors in the beautiful ballroom at The Commons 1854 (I was stunned by the magnitude of it!) and outdoors in their bistro area! Iryne did such a great job braving the cold for us! I also had so much fun playing around styling different details! I can already see such a huge improvement in my flat lay skills!
Well, without further ado, here are some of my favorite images! I’m not even going to apologize for the amount there are!
