I really love the “off” season as a photographer. It’s the time of year where I’m guaranteed the time to devote to going over everything in my business with a fine tooth comb and also taking the time to do some major professional development! I loved being able to attend a workshop recently at an old one-room schoolhouse here in MA! It’s so fun when things are local! Anyway, this workshop was all about styling flat lays (which are essentially the bridal details and invitations in regards to wedding photography) and it was so fun to see and hear Shelby work through various situations and then be able to get a chance to practice myself! I wanted to share a few images out of the many I took! I loved the invitations by Sugarhouse Stationary because I definitely have a soft spot for watercolor invitations! The second wedding invitation suite I photographed was a TALKING card! It was so cool!!! The bride and groom get to record their message in the card and when their guests open it, they hear their voices! So fun!! I’m looking forward to applying some of my new tips and tricks this year 🙂
