The day is over and now you have all of these beautiful images from your wedding day! Now what?
I beg of you, PLEASE do not let them live on your computer. You paid a lot of money to have these taken, and I’m willing to bet that the day you married your love was a pretty special day to you – so you should showcase them! Here are 5 ideas of what to do with your wedding photos.
- Album // Selecting your favorite images from the day to be put into a wedding album that can be displayed on your coffee table is such a sweet way to always have that reminder! If you’ve been following me for any amount of time, you know much I believe in printing your photos!
- Canvas or Framed Print // Having images from your wedding day turned into a canvas or matted in a beautiful frame are such wonderful ways to decorate your home together! Lord knows that I have images of our big milestones all over our home!
- Thank you notes // You’ll be sending out a LOT of thank you notes after the wedding day, so have them personalized with an image from your day! Then it becomes more than just a generic thank you card!
- Holiday ornaments // Have some “our first christmas” ornaments made with one of your favorite portraits!
- Magnets // Not everyone thinks of this for post-wedding, but one of my favorite magnets on our fridge is the one I had made with my favorite wedding photo of me and Steven! These are a great way to showcase details from your day along with some of your faves!
- Bonus: Use them as gifts! // More often than not, you’ll end up with really great family photos from the day because it’s not very often that everyone is all together AND dressed to the nines! People LOVE getting meaningful gifts like this!
I hope these five ideas will encourage you to make sure your photos live on past the digital age! Do you have any other ideas? Share them in the comments below!
