World’s End Engagement

TL;DR – Maya and Adam’s World’s End engagement session did NOT disappoint! We were almost back to our vehicles, when I asked Adam, “so, what was it about Maya’s profile that made you want to pursue her?” And he told us, “She looked like herself in every photo. It didn’t seem like she was faking any of it, she was authentic. And those eyes. Those blue eyes.”

I wish you could’ve been there with me in that moment. Hearing Adam talk about Maya like that was so incredibly sweet and genuine. It almost made me cry on the spot. It’s so easy to tell that these two are perfect for each other. They love each other unconditionally and they support each other always. We decided to have their engagement session at World’s End in Hingham. It was my first time there so I didn’t know anything about it. We had the best time walking around and getting to know each other!

There was a lot of laughter from all of us, a lot of walking, and we even got to look for sea glass together! At the end of their engagement session we worked quickly because it was very hot and they had switched into warmer clothes. Thankfully it didn’t stop them from bringing the heat to their photos! I know, that was probably a lame thing to say. But dang, these photos at the end were some of my favorite I’ve ever taken!

Maya + Adam, I CANNOT wait to see you again for your wedding this summer at Gibbet Hill! Thank you for taking me to World’s End for my first time ever! It was a beautiful place to explore with some incredible company!

  1. […] Maya and Adam are probably two of my most favorite humans. And based on the sentiments from the toasts at their Barn at Gibbet Hill wedding, a LOT of people feel that way about them. Maya and Adam just radiate around each other. It’s so clear how much they love each other with respect, passion, and integrity. They’re such a light for those who follow them! […]

You can usually find me adding books to my never-ending “to read” list; challenging myself to do things like not shop for a year; sneaking crispy m+ms from my secret hiding spot so I don’t have to share them with my daughter; and melting over seeing my children smiling at each other.

Oh and I guess I should mention - I’m a seasoned Portland wedding photographer who provides not only kick-ass wedding photos, but also a meaningful and laid-back experience from the time you book to the delivery of your final images.
