October Photo of the Day

As I sit here writing this, I have a sweet little boy sleeping next to me (who just turned one month old! 🙁 ) and my sweet little girl reading to herself in her bedroom for naptime. So, I’m giving myself a big helping of grace about the fact that I did not take a photo every day in October. I missed 6 days altogether, but I had a lot going on 😉

// First time seeing the baby in 3D! It was the neatest experience!
// Lily LOVED creating this mosaic ornament from Live In Mosaics! 🙂 She did it all on her own too!
// Lily got to see her best bud Xen for his birthday! It was such a fun day!
// Apple picking at Brooksby Farm!!
// Lily loved her virtual art class with Wild Child Artdoors this fall 🙂 In this class, she learned about symmetry via butterflies!
// Lily made it through a whole game of Chinese Checkers, and she *almost* won! She did really good, and I’m so happy I get to play this with her. It always reminds me of playing this each summer in Baltimore with my grandmother as I was growing up.
// We visited Nana and Papa and Lily loved creating these chocolate covered pretzels!
// Oh. My. Gosh. These are SOO good! I couldn’t stop eating them! Must go back to Trader Joe’s soon and stock up on these, hahaha.
// Me and my sweet girl!
// My last weekly belly photo before James was born!
// Lily and I made straw airplanes this week for our science experiment of the week.
// I had to move this gal to the floor instead of on the shelf because it’s getting so so tall!
// A fun morning playing with legos with Lily.
// This time around, I made padsicles for postpartum healing, and they were so amazing to have! Every mama should have these in their freezer for their recovery!
// Last photo ever where we are just a family of two!! This was right before I left for the hospital to be induced.
// James was born 🙂
// “Relaxing” in the hospital.
// Our announcement photo of James, five days old here!
// Daddy and Lily reading bedtime stories.
// Such a sleepy boy!
// Finally opened up my powersheets – I’m SO excited to dig into these soon and start setting intentions for 2021!
// Tummy time!
// This is the only outfit I bought for James while I was pregnant, and I love it.
// Already getting so big!

You can usually find me adding books to my never-ending “to read” list; challenging myself to do things like not shop for a year; sneaking crispy m+ms from my secret hiding spot so I don’t have to share them with my daughter; and melting over seeing my children smiling at each other.

Oh and I guess I should mention - I’m a seasoned Portland wedding photographer who provides not only kick-ass wedding photos, but also a meaningful and laid-back experience from the time you book to the delivery of your final images.

I share all things personal, business, tips, and life as a mom and business owner here on the blog!
