She Graduated! | Personal

I remember taking Krystle to parents weekend at Castleton in Vermont when we were checking out a college campus for her. My parents couldn’t make it, and we didn’t want her to miss out, so we drove down together while she toured the campus as a student and I took the parents tour. Five years and one transfer later, she graduated from the University of Southern Maine with a double major in Accounting and General Management. I am SO proud of her and all that she has accomplished! I am so excited to see where she will take herself in the future! The graduation itself was actually quite enjoyable – the guest speakers were awesome and there was a student group that sang an amazing medley in honor of Bob Crewe (who received an honorary degree during the ceremony)!! I started to record the performance on my phone and then realized my camera can do the same, so I switched over to the camera. Unfortunately the video size was too large for this post :/

We celebrated my sister by having a party at our place and I am so thankful that she was able to celebrate with some of her closest friends and family!!

You can usually find me adding books to my never-ending “to read” list; challenging myself to do things like not shop for a year; sneaking crispy m+ms from my secret hiding spot so I don’t have to share them with my daughter; and melting over seeing my children smiling at each other.

Oh and I guess I should mention - I’m a seasoned Portland wedding photographer who provides not only kick-ass wedding photos, but also a meaningful and laid-back experience from the time you book to the delivery of your final images.

I share all things personal, business, tips, and life as a mom and business owner here on the blog!
