My gosh Steven, you’re getting so close to 30! š
I wish I could tell the world just how damn incredible you are.
Like when you supported me through labor when you yourself were suffering from dehydration and probably heat stroke.
Or when you heard of a family member’s struggles and wanted to make meals to bring to them to eat, so it was one less thing they had to worry about.
Or maybe even that time you carried your friend out of the woods after she took a serious fall and injured herself, all while wearing your climbing shoes.
Or how you’re always there for your friends, especially when they need you the most.
Or the fact that you worry about Lily more than I do and it’s super sweet.
Or when you asked permission before you kissed me for the first time.
Or the way you always reassure me when I’m feeling so much doubt in life.
There’s so many “or’s” and yet they don’t do it justice.
Every year I try to explain just how much I love life with you, and how grateful I am to your parents for raising such an incredible person, but the words are never adequate. So, I’ll just sayĀ Happy Birthday Steven, I love you so much and I can’t wait to experience yet another year by your side.
