Year two in business

Sometimes I still can’t believe that I am a wedding photographer. I get to call this my job. I love every minute of it. 2014 was a wonderful year, where I got to witness eleven different couples say “I do,” and start a great adventure together. I also was fortunate enough to meet wonderful couples and photograph amazing hugs, kisses, and kiddos running around. It was the best. It makes me look forward to 2015 so much, because I know that it can only get better – as hard as that is to believe.

I feel so much joy in what I do, and I see myself growing as a business woman and photographer every day, and I have all my amazing couples to thank for that! I totally rocked out on my goals for 2014, and made huge accomplishments! I am going to make a conscious effort to revisit my goals more often in 2015 so that they are at the front of my mind. I’m so pumped for what this year has in store for me. I’m dreaming bigger than ever, and it’s super exciting and scary all at once.

I can’t believe that this time of year is already here – the time where we reflect on the past year and share amazing highlight reels of all the weddings that I was able to be a part of! Stay tuned for “Best of 2014” blog posts coming over the next few weeks!!

You can usually find me adding books to my never-ending “to read” list; challenging myself to do things like not shop for a year; sneaking crispy m+ms from my secret hiding spot so I don’t have to share them with my daughter; and melting over seeing my children smiling at each other.

Oh and I guess I should mention - I’m a seasoned Portland wedding photographer who provides not only kick-ass wedding photos, but also a meaningful and laid-back experience from the time you book to the delivery of your final images.

I share all things personal, business, tips, and life as a mom and business owner here on the blog!
