I often hear from clients that they are really nervous about having their photos taken and that they don’t know what they’re doing. That’s OKAY! It’s perfectly normal to be nervous about having your photos taken – it’s huge to put yourself in front of a camera! Especially if it’s not something you do very often. Heck, sometimes I get nervous about having my photos taken, and I do this for a living!
In terms of not knowing what they’re doing – well, that’s why you’ve hired me! When you come to a session with me, you are not responsible for coming up with the poses, or reactions, or telling funny jokes. It’s YOUR job to have FUN. I will walk you through every aspect of the session, and I will love on you and encourage you all of the way. You’ll never be left hanging! After all, it is my job, not yours, to take photos and make you feel awesome about it.
More often than not, I hear from my clients that at first they were really nervous, but when the session is over, they felt so comfortable and had fun! That is THE greatest compliment I can receive!
