On May 17th, I was blessed enough to witness one of my very best friends give birth to her second child! We’ve been talking about how I will be in the delivery room with her while she’s giving birth and taking photos for her. She texted me at 530pm that her water had broken and was 5cm dilated! When I arrived at the Birthing Suite at SMMC, there was a misunderstanding between me and the nurses on duty, and I wasn’t allowed into the room until just a couple of minutes before Hayden made his grand entrance! I wasn’t able to capture the photos of the birth, but I was able to capture all the priceless memories afterwards 🙂 I had only been waiting in the waiting room for about 15 minutes. Needless to say, she had a very quick labor! I am completely in awe of how much strength and control she demonstrated! I am SO happy for my best friends, and their new family of four! Hayden James is absolutely beautiful!!
She always gives him this look, and it melts my heart!
I can’t even begin to describe how proud this daddy is of his new baby boy!
It’s time for big brother to meet little brother! 🙂
I will never forget how she just could NOT take her eyes off of him. And for good reason!
