I pulled into their driveway and felt like I was walking into the home of friends. I sat on the couch and Mark and I talked for a while until Allyssa and James were ready to step out of the nursery. It felt so comfortable, and I was absolutely honored to be back in their life to photograph such a special time!
James was born in October, and Mark wanted to surprise Allyssa with a family session at home (though he couldn’t wait very long to surprise her, haha) and we had the best time just catching up and grabbing such priceless photos around Christmastime as a family of three!
Allyssa and Mark have parenthood down. They love James SO much, and the way their faces light up when they talk about him and their experiences thus far is just so incredible to see. They’re an incredible team and I am so happy that not only did I photograph them in their beautiful home, but we went back to the covered bridge where they were married a year and a half ago 🙂
