Top Blog Posts of 2018

I’ve been blogging for seven years now, my friends. Isn’t that totally wild?! I’ve published over 800 blog posts, and I JUST learned how to see what my top blog posts of the year were, haha. So, I thought this would be a fun little compilation post of the top five blog posts from 2018! I think  I’ll make this a yearly thing!

#1. ” A new adventure. This was our announcement that we were packing up and moving to the Boston area! I love sharing parts of my life with you all so I loved seeing that this was the number one post from last year!

#2. Jack + Becca’s wedding day! Despite the downpour alllll day, I loved this wedding and I’m psyched that you did too! Everyone that day was just so excited and happy about what was happening that they didn’t let the rain stop them! It sure was a rainy year last year, haha.

Jack and Becca were married at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Yarmouth, Maine. Did their portraits at the Cumberland Club in Portland, and had their reception at the Woodlands Club in Falmouth! Despite the relentless rain, it was still a kick-ass day!

#3. Emily + Nick’s wedding day! My first wedding of the season and my last one before I moved! I love Emily and Nick, and if you’ve been paying attention you’ll recognize that this is the couple I’ve worked with multiple times now because they also had a baby boy at the end of 2018!!! So so honored to be their photographer!

Emily and Nick were married at Stone Mountain Arts Center. Click here to see more wedding images by Linda Barry Photography. Bride and groom photos.

#4. Landon + Becky’s proposal! Becky was my wedding photographer, so it was super special to me that I was able to photograph the proposal in the Old Port!! Becky didn’t know it was coming and it was absolutely perfect despite the chilly spring day!

Landon surprised Rebecca during their Old Port mini session and PROPOSED! The sweetest surprise proposal by Linda Barry Photography is on the blog!

#5. My VIPKID post. In case you’ve been wondering, I’m still going strong with VIPKID and I’m sooo thankful that this has been such a blessing to our family!! I just signed my third contract with them!

You can usually find me adding books to my never-ending “to read” list; challenging myself to do things like not shop for a year; sneaking crispy m+ms from my secret hiding spot so I don’t have to share them with my daughter; and melting over seeing my children smiling at each other.

Oh and I guess I should mention - I’m a seasoned Portland wedding photographer who provides not only kick-ass wedding photos, but also a meaningful and laid-back experience from the time you book to the delivery of your final images.

I share all things personal, business, tips, and life as a mom and business owner here on the blog!
