Last week, we were sitting around a table with a dear friend of ours, and she asked me why I love being a wedding photographer. The answer to that question has so many layers, but what it comes down to is that I LOVE being able to help these families create legacies to leave behind! I love going home and looking through my parents photos, and I love that they always put in the effort to get professional photos taken of us as a family (not an easy feat with four kids!) on a regular basis. Since 2013, Steven and I have always made it a point to have photos taken every year, and I’m SO grateful that we do! They’re priceless memories that we can show our friends and our children for years to come, and they’re so damn meaningful to me.
A lot of times people will wait for a special event (like a wedding) and just get photos taken then. Why wait for a special event? Truly, EVERY day is a special event and it absolutely deserves to be documented!
So, that’s why (for the first time EVER) I’m offering summer mini sessions for the end of June! These will be geared toward families, couples, and maternity sessions! $200 ( +5.5% sales tax) for a 30 minute session at a location in Portland (your choice, or we can pick one together) and you’ll receive 25 final digital images that are yours to keep! I only have TWELVE spots available so if you want one of the spots, reach out to me!

No one ever regrets having their photos taken that they absolutely love! What people do regret (and speaking from experience 100%) is not having more photos of themselves with the people who matter the most.
