Sara sent him an e-mail and she knew it was a long shot, but she liked what he had to say. He e-mailed her back and they chatted for a few weeks before he flew from Portland, Oregon to Portland, Maine to meet her for the first time. I asked Andrew if he already knew that he wanted to marry her, and he kind of smiled shyly and said, “yeah!” Andrew flew back to Oregon and started planning for his move across the country to be with Sara.
Here they are a year later, engaged and planning their wedding together! I had the greatest time walking around the Old Port with them hearing more about their story (it’s pretty wild!) and visiting spots that mattered to them – like Gritty’s! We chased the light and ended our session at the East End beach and civil twilight gave us some pretty dreamy lighting 🙂
