NEW Brand!!

This year is my third year in business, and after my mentoring session with Amanda Hedgepeth, I realized what people see online doesn’t really reflect me. I LOVE Harry Potter, and bright colors! I love sleek modern looks. I love to have fun! So, I decided it was time to finally invest in a graphic designer to help me with an overhaul of what my business would look like to others!

Working with Katie Durski of KD Creative  was one of the best investments I’ve ever made for my business. She made it SO simple and easy, and it came out better than I ever could have imagined! I feel like I’m finally proud of my online presence. Once upon a time, I thought you had to get a graphic designer RIGHT AWAY when you started your business. But, now I’m realizing that if I had done that, I wouldn’t have known who I was in my business. I wouldn’t have known what I wanted my business to reflect, because I wouldn’t have had the experiences of working with amazing couples and figuring out who I am as a person. If I had done it right away, I would’ve had to re-invest in a new brand anyway, because I have a feeling I just would’ve done what everyone else is doing!

I’m SO relieved to finally be done with my overhaul and to know that it’s here to stay.

Here’s a before and after of my homepage:

I’m just so excited! I hope you check out my new website! 🙂 I spent hours on it 😉 You’ll also notice that the blog has a few tweaks made to it to match the rest of my brand 🙂

You can usually find me adding books to my never-ending “to read” list; challenging myself to do things like not shop for a year; sneaking crispy m+ms from my secret hiding spot so I don’t have to share them with my daughter; and melting over seeing my children smiling at each other.

Oh and I guess I should mention - I’m a seasoned Portland wedding photographer who provides not only kick-ass wedding photos, but also a meaningful and laid-back experience from the time you book to the delivery of your final images.

I share all things personal, business, tips, and life as a mom and business owner here on the blog!
