"where your treasure is, there will your heart be also."

01

- Steven (my husband) and Lily (my
   daughter).
- the ocean.
- Harry Potter (I adore my wizarding
   collection!)
- living a simple and unconventional life.
- the environment.
- ADVENTURE!

The things I am most passionate about in life are:

02

I photograph regular people and remind them how incredible and beautiful they are - just as they are! I serve the world by photographing pure connections and making family heirlooms for generations to enjoy!

Simply put, I capture legacies.

what I do

03

... rock climbing.
... teaching my husband and daughter
    American Sign Language.
... working on the development of laugh
    wrinkles.
...  probably watching Friends.
... trying to leave the world a better place for
    my daughter.
... daydreaming about our next road trip!

when I'm not busy working on weddings, you can catch me...

The very first night I met my husband, we stayed out all night, went to the ocean and watched the sunrise from the top of a parking garage. After being quiet for a few minutes, I looked over at Steven and caught him looking at me. I will never forget the look on his face - I knew at that moment he was it for me. That's why I do what I do - so you'll never forget those moments, because they deserve to be remembered, every day.

why I do what I do

dying to know more?

About me

1. One of my biggest goals in life is to do a handstand push - up.
2. I'm an introvert at heart.
3. Gifford's Campfire S'mores is my all time favorite ice cream.
4. I have a Master's degree in Secondary Education and taught high school chemistry for 4 years.
5. Scrapbooking is my favorite winter activity!

Here are 5 things you might not know about me!

About steven

Steve(n): Husband, dad, rock climber, friend, loves bicycles, stitcher, BJJ, video gamer, builder, dreamer, pretend inventor.

Hi, nice to meet you, I'm Steve!
You've probably already met my wife, Linda, but this is supposed to be about me so I'm not going to go on about her right now (but she is pretty rad). With that being said, on a typical weeknight after work, you'd be equally likely to find me playing with our daughter, sewing a recent project, building/modifying something for our home or for personal use, going rock climbing, or working on our cars.

I also quite enjoy searching the internet for new joke material to try out on my friends and family. Helping people laugh is a great thing, and I've been trying to master what people call the, "Dad joke." These can come in handy in a myriad of situations.

I never really know how to end these "about me" blurbs, so I'll say goodbye for now!

About lily

The biggest inspiration of all.

Most people ask us, "is she really this happy?" and the answer to that is YES! We are blessed to have the giggliest, happiest and sweetest little girl ever! Most days you can find Lily:

- reading all the books she owns.
- pointing to things and saying "what's that!" (at least, that's what I think she's saying)
- eating! This girl can eat!
- giving people spontaneous hugs and kisses.
- being tickled by her dad.
- playing outside in her sandbox or on the living room floor.

This photography business honestly just fell into my lap five years ago. A friend of a friend wanted some photos done for her portfolio and I was really hesitant. I had only been taking photos of THINGS. The idea of photographing people scared the crap out of me. But I did the photos and actually had a lot of fun doing it! Before I knew it, a friend of hers wanted photos done, and then someone else, and then a girl who was on the dance team with me asked me to photograph her wedding.

That’s how it all started. It started to snowball and I just ran with it and it’s been one of the greatest things to ever happen to me in my life. I LOVE this business. I ADORE my couples and being able to photograph their families and their love and some of the most important moments in their lives. It’s absolutely incredible what I get to do, and I truly am so honored to be a photographer.

I made the leap to full-time to pursue my passion for this business when I found out I was pregnant with our little girl. We tried for 3.5 years for the family we so desperately wanted, and when I was finally pregnant, it just didn't feel right to keep living life the way I was. So, I made some of the biggest changes of my life and it has been so incredibly rewarding!

The dream I didn't know I had.
